I kindly explained to them that we tried to contact them, got the runaround and couldn't wait to book the rest of the summer cuz other rooms were waiting on us. It is a pretty nice feeling but annoying at the same time. These places are nice rooms to play in the summer (outside decks) but I can't (and won't) cancel a gig we have booked just to play there.
