Members StratGuy22
played a Back to the Future Party at a buddies shop. We all dressed as The Doc Browns. I thought our hair would go white-er with the hairspray. At the last minute I realized instead of matching we could have went as a Cowboy Soc Brown, 50's Doc Brown, 80's doc Brown and futuristic Doc Brown but it was too late. It was fun it it was also the first gig with my new Presonus CS18AI. I really like it, it's easier than just an iPad on stage
Members StratGuy22
Then came Halloween. We all dressed as the cast from Gilligans Island, I always like group costumes! Me and my Little Buddy
Members vort
We have a lot of fun with the "themed" gigs. Halloween of course, we also recently did an "80's" night. The venue encourage everyone to dress up in their best 80's attire. Attached is one from the 80's, and one from Halloween.

Members StratGuy22
Played a Christmas party this weekend. At work, long story, no one goes to the company Xmas party. There used to be 4 Xmas parties: A&D shift B&C shift Maintenance Staff Each had a decent budget, and our band was hastily thrown together for one of the last parties 7 years ago. When our company was bought out, they went to one party for everyone. That instantly meant no matter when it was, 2 shifts couldn't go. Even if they had 2 parties and you had to choose to go to one, then at least everyone would have the chance to go. Due ye to other dealings and general morale around the place, the Xmas parties have been reduced to Staff & lead-hands. It's known among the guys as "The Bag-lickers Ball" Last year we ended up putting on a NYE party basically on our own. We wanted to keep it simple and keep the price down, so we went with no meal, midnight lunch, $25. A couple guys from work said "well hell, we should do this and put on our own Xmas party. The tickets will pay for the hall, the band and the lunch" so they did it, and sold about 120 tickets. We played at a reduced rate to help them save on costs. No big deal that way, we didn't want anyone to be out of pocket on this. Heres as a couple setup pics: Load in: All set up: Mission Control: My area & the bass players spot, nice clean setup: My area, FCB1010 to control the light rig & my guitar rig. Everyone had a great time, I'm thinking it might become an annual thing and the numbers should be higher once the word gets out. Tended to be a bit more on the country side but it kept people dancing. A buddy from work has been in bands over the years so we get him up for a half dozen songs and at the end. We played Wagon Wheel THREE TIMES lol. They kept asking for it again. This was the only video of the night, it was one of the last songs and our buddy played some harp on it.
