Can get some decent cleans and pretty close to recto tones. Seems like a pretty versatile little unit. Anyone else here use one? Comments, settings, suggestions? Members Karma1 Posted February 16, 2006 Members Share Posted February 16, 2006 I don't have the rackmount version, but I've used the V-Twin pedal for years and it's a major component of my tone. One tip is to experiment with trying different tubes in it. After replacing the stock tubes with a JJ Tesla and a Groove Tubes, I noticed a distinct improvement in it's sound. Even though most people think of it for it's distortion abilities, I love what it does for my clean tone. I'd be interested to hear what the rack version sounds like in comparison.
