FCB1010 Amp Switching

Hello Andy,

 

I just got my FCB1010 and have a question. I have an ENGL Powerball amp which has four controllable options. The amp has two 1/4 inch inputs in the back for that.

 

The FCB can only control two options. Are there any mods or any way I

can use the FCB to fully control the four options on my amp?

 

Here are the finding after experimenting with the switching:

 

Swith1 on. Switch2 off : High Gain Lead

Switch1 off. Switch2: on: Crunch

Switch1&2 on: High Gain Lead

Switch1&2 off: Crunch

 

With the cables reversed at the back of the amp.

 

Swith1 on. Switch2 off : MasterVolumeB

Switch1 off. Switch2 on: MasterVolumeA

Switch1&2 on: MasterVolB

Switch1&2 off: MasterVolA.

You will have to use either a CFX4 from Axxess Electronics or get an efx unit like the

TC G-major,

Rocktron Replifex / Multivalve

Roland GP-8 etc ,

which have two relays built in, to access the other two channels.

I've seen the other posts. But I've heard that the FCB can be modded to perform all tasks.

You will have to add two relays from somewhere. I don't think there is any way else to do it. Good luck. Cheers Lucius
