i got a good deal on it, but it didnt come with a midi pedal, so what are some decent alternatives?

What preamp did you get? and are you looking to only switch between patches or you want to be able to do all the extra midi stuff like CC and RealTime controlling (if your preamp can do that stuff)?

Cheers

Low cost = Behringer FCB1010, Rocktron Midimate, DMC Ground Control

Higher cost = GCX Ground Control Pro, Rocktron All Access, Axess MFC5/FX1, CAE RS-10MKI/II

I'm looking for either a Rocktron Midimate or a GC-Pro myself. I think out of the batch I listed, they are the most bang for your buck controllers out there today.

Try to find an older Bradshaw/Rocktron RSB-12 or RSB-18f Switching System-and all your switching, routing, channel switching ,VCA,HUSH and loop problems will be a thing of the past.MIDI in the BEST of all terms is an easy accomplished task with a Bradshaw or Newer CAE/Custom Audio Electronics system.

All the others pale in comparison-and Bradshaw really does make the bset systems.
