Members the stranger
Don't pay more than say $25 in excellent condition. I have one and it's an ancient piece of gear and it is old digital which means it's grainy sounding. I used mine for a vocal preamp most of the time. It's all presets (the effects), you get what you get and only have the wet/dry mix to adjust with. The preamp section is fine, but don't expect high gain type metal tones. And it does ok as a DI (for demos). Great fun when I first got it years ago, but like I said, don't give more than a few bucks. Like a effects pedal, you will bore with it quickly. Last but not least, there is the silent spot when you switch effects which makes the unit not very good for live use. I never sold mine because I ended up making better use of it as a spare mic preamp, but it still suffers from early generation digital sound. Shoot me a message if you have any more questions. Members drewl
I don't know about the "LT" version but friend had one of the purple and black SGX preamp/processors and it was just so bad sounding no matter how he tried to program it. Members gimme411
I had an SGE and had to send it back to ART like 5 times to get fixed. But hey for $20. (Just unplug it when you're done.)
