Members fistacuffs Posted July 8, 2009 Members Share Posted July 8, 2009 I just got a gmajor and I love a couple of the presets but when I put it in the loop I loose significant volume. the head is a engl blackmore with only a wet/ dry ajustment for the loop. Members flump Posted July 8, 2009 Members Share Posted July 8, 2009 Most likely the pro/consumer setting. Also you know you can adjust the input and output knobs on the front? Use your MIDI controller to send a CC which enables the Solo Boost, which will get it up to 0 dB. You can select the CC in the MOD menu. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The easiest thing to do is just to set the input on the front of the G-major as high as you can without clipping the input. (this is in the manual) Then set the output knob on the front so that there is no noticable volume boost or drop. Its pretty easy to do. Edit: by leave the presets I mean the ones you make yourself.
