tc Gmajor volume drop when in loop

I just got a gmajor and I love a couple of the presets but when I put it in the loop I loose significant volume.

the head is a engl blackmore with only a wet/ dry ajustment for the loop.

Am I missing something simple here?

thanks for any help

Most likely the pro/consumer setting. Also you know you can adjust the input and output knobs on the front?

Are you trying to run it out in front of the amp at all? They are only meant to be run with a line level signal (in the loop).

thanks for the info

how do I use the solo boost.

and yes, its time for me to download the manual

All presets are at -6 dB (factory settings). Use your MIDI controller to send a CC which enables the Solo Boost, which will get it up to 0 dB. You can select the CC in the MOD menu.

I'd leave most of the presets at -6 dB just because of the solo boost possibilities.

The easiest thing to do is just to set the input on the front of the G-major as high as you can without clipping the input. (this is in the manual) Then set the output knob on the front so that there is no noticable volume boost or drop. Its pretty easy to do.

Edit: by leave the presets I mean the ones you make yourself.
