Members Praxisaxis Posted January 21, 2011 Members Share Posted January 21, 2011 Hi,I'm after a bit of gear which will do this: Take an input signal and *gate it with pre-programmed rhythmic patches (preferrably user-programmable)*gate it with a key input type thing (from a separate audio signal)*adjustable attack, hold, release and pan*preferably all of the above. I'm aware of a protools plugin which does these things... I already make some use of it, but I find that with fast attack times I get clipping sounds at the start... I've also tried it with a Korg Electribe (on which programmed gates are possible), but I get the same digital clipping sounds when the attack is fast (I'm wondering whether analogue gear would have the same trouble), plus the resulting sound quality is fairly bad.
