Members Rich4Once Posted August 3, 2011 Members Share Posted August 3, 2011 I recently purchased a Lexicon MPX 500 for my guitar rig. I had the exact problem you describe. Upon discovering that I couldn't easily control it with my Rolls MidiBuddy, I sold it. It would be nice if the user-editable programs were #1-#30 as opposed to #240-#270. My understanding is that Lexicon didn't intend this box to be used by musicians onstage, but in the studio, where slow patch changes and pedal-less switching aren't an issue. The least they could do is mention it in their literature. I read numerous reviews of the Lexi before I bought it, and none of them bothered to say a word about the user programs being located beyond #128 and unreachable with standard MIDI pedals.
