Members nombrecinq
My gear list is pretty short, but what I have so far that is "rackable" is a 3U Yamaha EX5R and a 1U PreSonus interface. I was thinking of getting a portable rack that I can just rest on a desk for easy access, but there are a bunch to choose from so I'm wondering what everybody thinks of them. Here are some I've run across: SKB regular: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/skb-10-space-rack-case/544610000000000 SKB Roto Rack: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/skb-skb-r6-u.s.-roto-rack Gator: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/gator-gr-deluxe-rack-case/544792000000501
Members nombrecinq
I've been reading a bit about different racks, and some people are religious about EWI. Here's a 10U case that they make: http://www.audiopile.net/products/Cases/AUE_series_shockracks/A8UE-10/A8UE-10_series_cutsheet.shtml Apparently they're not so great for heavy touring, but otherwise would something like that be better than anything by SKB or Gator? Members Crownman
Personally, yes. I'd rather have the Audiopile case than the plastic SKB or Gator cases.
