But back on topic...i just want to know what kind of speakers they are, if they are good and if there worht keeping, haha. They are wax sealed too. And no way of opening them. The Model: RPA-6A Serial Number: 10480 8 Ohms, made in Santa Ana USA I know there an old model beacause my uncle who played in the 80's used them as speakers for a keyboard. Members agedhorse
Got me stumped! Did Fender make some PA under the Rhodes brand?
Members Kennykeys
Randall? Weren't they in Cali? Doubt if they're 12's. Maybe 10's. Maybe some 6x9's or some such oddball oblong driver. Any good? For what, PA?.....No. Old column PA style speakers are a outdated technology. Kinda neat to stand up in the corner, collecting dust. I did see a pair of tuck 'n' roll naugahyde Kustom columns go for some rediculous price recently on Ebay, $500 or so. Collectors, I guess. Also saw someone list some Shure Vocal Mashers as a "mini line array."
