Members bobbyyyz
hey, I was hope you fellows could help me out. A friend of mine has this ancient mixer in storage and asked me if it's worth keeping or selling (or just garbage). Unfortunatly, she doesn't have acess to the board right know (it's in storage about 100 miles, from where we are right now) and all I have is this picture. As an owner of a soundcraft lx7ii, I doubt this mixer has any use, or value:facepalm:, but If anyone has a make or model number or any specs, it would really help us out! PS: it's the biggest, mixer in the front
Members agedhorse
Which one? The Tapco, the Peavey or the RSD?
Members Consume
It looks like a REALLY old - as in very early 80's - maybe even late 70's Studiomaster mixer. I knew somebody who had one, and they had 4-channel add on segments, and that is what it looks like on the right hand side of the mixer. Bingo.. RSD 12-2 with a pair of 4 channel expanders. http://www.studiomaster.com/1976-1978.htm

Members agedhorse
Didn't see the PS. It's a late 70's RSD Studiomaster. I used to service them. Worth a couple hundred if it's working ok. There are folks who collect and use this kind of vintage stuff and it's restorable as a hobby too. Not a bad board, most parts are still available too. Members agedhorse
He should be stoked if he can get $100 for the studio master. It depends... if it's relatively clean and has it's case (most were shipped with a road case), it's still a good console.
