Members acoustic2
Hi, I have been playing solo acoustic live music since 2003, but am clueless when in comes to wiring speakers. I simply plug the speakers in the back of the board and play my gig. I have never explored the possibility of differential wiring to be louder and whatnot- my setup has been plenty loud enough for the small rooms I've played at. My setup: Mackie 808S powered SB. (300W @ 8ohms / 450W @ 4ohms / 600W @ 2ohms)Peavey PR-15 (400W handling / 800W peak) with two 1/4" jacks in the back (parallel) My soundboard has 4 output jacks in the back labeled Left/Main Right/Monitor Here are my questions:1. What is parallel wiring- how do I setup my speakers to be run in parallel?2. What is daisy chaining? 3. If I buy two more PR-15s, what is the best way to wire the four of them up? Any explanation would be great- thanks!
Members allexcosta
Answers: 1 - Click here, that's how your speakers are already wired. 2 - Click here 3 - Two from your Left main out, two from your Right main out, daisy chained.
