Members modulusman
One of the bands I play with the BL recently purchased a yamaha stagepas for smaller gigs. The stagepas only has one monitor output. He also has two of these http://www.interstatemusic.com/872110-Kustom-Powerwerks-PW4P-50-Watt-Powered-PA-Monitor-PW4P.aspx# I know I know. Anyway the way he has tried to use them at gigs is by using the mic jacks in and out coming off the monitor send which isn't the reccommended way. They distort and you can barely turn the volume up. Unfortunately they only have one 1/4 inch line input. Anyway is it possible to use a y cable or something like this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/american-recorder-technologies-1-4-male-mono-to-two-1-4-female-adapter Any other solutions? We might eventually use 4 of the powerwerks units so everyone in the band has one.
Members Gregidon
Yes, that's a fine way and the proper use of those connectors (contrary to the seemingly popular use).
Members modulusman
I thought I read somewhere on an internet forum that you shouldn't use a Y cable on either an input or an output can't remember which one or if it is even an issue.
