Members bubdude
So many speakers to choose from.I am looking for powered speakers for my manicured noise/ Industrial setup. The last noise event I went that I was in attendance for had eon speakers and mackies, Any body have experience with reliable, flat powered speakers?I'm not out to deafen anyone I just want a clear sound. Members Miko Man
Standard questions: 1. What is your budget?2. What size is the room?3. How many people in the room?4. How low a frequency is regularly part of your source material? Lots of options. Some good, some very good, some really ugly. Mark C.
Members BillESC
I would suggest the current best bang for the buck are EV's ZLX-15P's. At only $ 499.99 they offer exceptional clarity and a built in mixer with DSP.I put some in my rental inventory and am very happy with the decision. Members bubdude
Thank you all for your responses.Yes, quality does pay for itself. I always aim to find reliable quality gear. I havesome expensive hand built analog gear for modifying signals and generating signals that truly amazingIf that's the area one wants to explore. Not cheap, low status high quality noise gear: My budget is riding high on the social security tip. I am old enough to have learned the garage/punk aesthetic.$500.00 is right in there for a single speaker.Room size: living room/garage, a.a. talent show, senior citizens pot lucks. Small warehouse50 persons max.Lo frequency...?.....Low e string bass, maybe an octive lower, depends on the speaker. Thanks.
