Members jeff grocki
So after just under 3 years of use I had an amp in one of my PRX 618s-xlf's go down. Shop says no issue they will swap out the amp under warranty until part from JBL is back order. Any sense from recent dealings on how long that may mean? I know I read some stories about the service end but my shop is very good and is not the hold up its the part. Just looking for some input. Been looking to upgrade and now may be as good a time as any. can't be down a sub for too long.
Members RoadRanger
Can you just use the dead one as a spacer until the part comes in? There's also the option of getting a whole spare to use and then you'll have five for those bigger shows . They really are a kickarse, light sub - gonna be hard to find something else better that isn't stoopid heavy .
