Members Kevin T
Has anyone used 2/side with one flipped on top of another (horns together)?
Members agedhorse
I haven't, but I would not expect any significant issues. Ev's horns have fairly uniform patterns (provided they do not have asymmetrical vertical coverage which I don't think they do)
Members witesol
Should work. One thing to insider is that the finish on those cabs is very slippery against itself. And there is only one handle so strapping is best done 360 around.
Members agedhorse
Thin mouse pad between the cabinets can help with slippery finish too.
Members bigjd
Ya,I do it all the time. I built my own dual speaker brackets though as i didn't trust the inexpensive options available out there.Been running 4 Elx112p over 4 Elx118p for larger events for awhile now. Still only one failure, a HF driver. No thermal issues,no other problems to report.Other than I carry a paint pen to touch up finish once in awhile. Members Kevin T
Does 1over1 sound liike any dual 12 mains ie QRX212? At some multiple u have paid for the amp/processing too many times no?
Members bigjd
Don't know if it sounds like 1 over 1, I use them side by side on a T-bracket.And as far as paying for amps and processing, I paid for a scalable system that will work in many situations,in many venues as well as small outdoors events.Portable, light, sips power, loud as I ever need to be. Never have pushed the tops to limiting. Have had the limit lights kick on with the subs, but rearranged them so they weren't fighting each other and that went away.
