Members djerickson
I remember we've covered this before, but here's my situation: Looking to put a Crown XTI2000 and a QSC GX7 in the same rack. The fans blow opposite directions. The Crown is quite a bit longer so I wanted to put it below the QSC so I could still easily access the back of the GX7. Can I do this? Do I need to space the amps a few extra spaces apart or should I seperate the two and only rack like cooling fan amps? Thanks.
Members agedhorse
Poor choice IMO if you plan on running the amps hard. Why not sell one and get two of the same series?Otherwise, separation needs to be about 2x the height, and even that will help only with airflow path, not accumulated heat.
