I used to play some Ronnie Milsap, and still play So Into You by the Al\tlanta Rhythm Section. The private concerts and corporate events seem to be aboon for established bands that don't necessarily appeal to the kids anymore. I have a friend who was hanging out with Carlos Santana on a private event Santana did here. Reminds me of the KC and the Sunshine band scene in the rebooted In-Laws movie. Members Shaster Posted October 11, 2018 Members Share Posted October 11, 2018 Just thinking that my biggest show that I provided for this summer was two subs, two double tens, and two monitors - two thousand watts of power. Kinda pales in comparison to your show Bill! My gigs are getting smaller and smaller. Provided for an event with two hundred people, and a trio band. Two Bose speakers, small Allen & Heath mixer did the trick - outdoors! It also paid more than usual, and they were very happy with the sound. Go figure. The property owner built an outdoor stage for the event but would not accept an industry standard truss roof because he saw the Sugarland event.
