Members Robsco Posted September 27, 2018 Members Share Posted September 27, 2018 Looking to upgrade pa again. Im currently using jbl mrx 515 over srx718, feeding each cabinet 800 watts. Looking to switch to 812sp over 818sp. This is for live rock band. Question is howmuch improvement could i expect? I really don't expect you will gain any bottom over the 718s at 800w on the low end. Those are nice boxes powered well. I think you input into the sub and set the output at an xover point to the tops. I have not read the directions so do not make a y cable. Read the manuals on your tops and subs.
