Members Luckenbacher
I have a pair of Senn HD280s that I've been hauling around for the last 10 years. I think I've replaced all the parts on them other than the drivers. They've been good to me.
Members Axisplayer
Audio Technica's ATH-M50 are in your budget and exceptional phones. I have used a set for a while and like them. They replaced my Sony 7506's that I wore out. I like the Sony also. If you can afford up to $250, then there are many, many choices. I think you need to go where they have a selection and try some out. I can't tell you what your opinion is, and thats what it really comes down to.
