At under $200 and great GBF I put my band's entire vocal line on them and other than a having to get used to a much tighter pattern, they've been great. I talked with EV and they recommended something comparable out of their new line up, but on paper at least, they don't seem very similar at all. No explanation about the difference other than "that's what we have now." from EV. I'm noticing some deterioration in the sound of my 767a's and would like to replace them soon. Have any of you guys tried mics from the new line up? Those of you that have, what are your thoughts when comparing the two? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members Pro Sound Guy Posted November 11, 2016 Members Share Posted November 11, 2016 I am assuming that you have removed the screens off the mics and foam and washed the foam out with mild soap and water and cleaned the screens with an old toothbrush soap and water?
