I need someone with a pile of experience (especially internationally) I can talk to about installing truss systems (or something equivalent) safely in environments like convention centers, supporting relatively light weights. Not for a specific application, more along the lines of "here are some fictional requirements, what would need to be done, what do I need to buy, how do I manage costs, and what kind of people do I need to find for the install". Should I be trying to find a rigging company? Truss system vendor? Someone through IATSE? Is there such a thing as a rigging consultant? Anybody here do this kind of work?
