Members humanliteshow
I just went there and it looks like all the streaming audio clips for each cd have been taken down:( . This sucks, I discovered a TON of new music by being able to listen to it before I put down the money, stuff I probably wouldn't have given a chance without a listen first. If anyone's in the know, let me in on the reason, will ya??
Members scubyfan
It does seem that way. I used to do the same thing with CDNow before they were bought out by Amazon. It had clips for all the tracks to virtually every CD they had in stock.

Members powerpop
iTunes lets you sample every track - not just the first 5 or so. I'm consistently amazed at the wide variety of music offered.
Members suitandtieguy
i used to buy from CDnow. they had a great interface, crossreferencing, and previews. when they were absorbed by A_)(*#*&$, i stopped buying CDs online. even having previews didn't help me wade through the muck that was their terrible shopping interface. i now buy CDs in stores, and mp3s from eMusic. they work well together, i'm happy. though i wish CDnow was still in bidness. that was the best CD store ever. Members drowse
I agree. CDNow was an awesome store.. and I stopped buying stuff for a long time online.. but then I discovered that amazon.com does free shipping over $25.. but their prices still could not really compete with Best Buy for new stuff... and if its not new, I usually buy it used at the Half Price Books store I work in.. so I quit using amazon almost 8 months ago.. The infrastructure is there, of course. The internet's global. The problem is, I need to sign up in order to use it... and I need a USA street address. And I can't fake it because they also need my credit card number. Forever, Kim.
