Members wild_eyed
hi folks, first time posting, so be gentle..... my setup is as follows: Cubase sx Delta 1010 Lt i recently purchased a Qchord, i was intrigued by its midi capabilities and the fact that it has the strumplate... My problem, im controlling a vst grand piano in cubase, and the Qchord is hooked up. but its sending all of its data, and the one its cauing the most trouble is the drums. so you can imagine its attempting to play a waltz beat through the grand piano, interesting but not what i want. is there any way to block channel 10, which is the channel transmitting the drum/midi signal in cubase? here is the channel listing for the Qchord: Midi Channel 2 - Melody KeyboardMidi Channel 3 - Chord PlusMidi Channel 4 - Chord PlusMidi Channel 5 - Auto Chord 1Midi Channel 6 - Auto Chord 2Midi Channel 7 - Auto Chord 3Midi Channel 8 - Auto Chord 4Midi Channel 9 - BassMidi Channel 10 - DrumsMidi Channel 14, 15, 16 - Strumplate so what i want to do is select what cubase is receiving. this guy is able to do it, maybe he posts here: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Keyboard+And+MIDI/product/Suzuki/Q-Chord/10/1 thank you
Members theextremist04
From what it looks like, you have to do it through whatever's receiving the MIDI data, not through the qchord.
