"patches" generally are not samples. What that means is manipulation of the on-board samples and effects.

And, What about the KARMA? is it free?

Are you asking if KARMA is free in the M3? Then, yes, it's already onboard the M3. But to edit the KARMA parameters (e.g. make your own GEs, etc.) beyond what's in the M3, you'll have to purchase KM3 (KARMA M3) from Karma-Lab.

 

If you are asking if KARMA is free in the M50, then no. M50 does not have KARMA on board and the M50 PC editor has nothing to do with KARMA. If you want KARMA for an M50, then you have to purchase KARMA M50 software from Karma-Lab.
