Members kilon
As you know andromeda has the tune issues of any analogue out there. I though I will share my experience with this issue so far. First I play the "Male Quire" preset immediately after turning on andromeda (it had been off for at least 25 hours). The temperature inside the room is 20 C . Ignore the mistakes I make on higher notes, the problem appears on the lower octave only. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mil2mucqnjz and then immediately I do autotune and the problem is solved http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mqxhwnnhabm feel free to share your experience with this synth or any other analogue. Members Space Peeps
it takes time for the synth to warm up. i wait 30mins but 15-20min should be adequate. at that time, if it needs to be tuned, i hit autotune. take a look at both the manual and the tips and tricks document. they both cover tuning, including the functions of background tuning and temperature tuning. how you adjust those settings can make a difference to how the VCOs sound. you'll have to experiment and see what works best for you. i tend to leave both background tuning and temperature tuning off. Members soundwave106
You can sometimes get lucky, and have the Andromeda sound right without tuning. But usually you need to tune on bootup, and then maybe 5-10 minutes later. Helpful hint: Often, I only tune the VCOs after the initial tuning. You do this by going in the tuning menu, going to the VCO menu item and clicking twice. Much quicker than the full tune.
