Members fwteilpp
Hello all,I am very impressed by how realistic this gentleman's Samplemodeling saxophone performance is (starts at 3:29 in the video). He uses a breath controller; I am planning to buy the Samplemodeling library but I wonder if it is possible to achieve a similar level of realism with an expression pedal instead of a breath controller... Does anyone know?In other words, how different is a breath controller from an expression pedal?
Members mate_stubb
Breath control is way more authentic for modelling, well, breath control. If you are a horn player already, you can use some of the lip and tongueing technique that you already know. This is not possible with a pedal. Members Dr.Wu
big fan of the samplemodelling instruments-i use a BC3 breathcontroller and cannot imagine to get similar results with a pedal but obviously Stefano who is the producer of the sax models is perfectly capable to do so if you watch his demo videos
