Members orinoco Posted November 10, 2013 Members Share Posted November 10, 2013 Ok, so I own a few purely analog synths (Jupiter 4, Prophet 600, MS20) and I really want a new poly synth that can give me a slightly different sound. I like the idea of additive synthesis/wavetable synths but am concerned that they will sound too cold and so I want something that has a digital sound source but has decent analog filters/VCAs etc to make it sound a bit warmer. Ideally I want something where you are not limited to just stock waveforms and you can do AM/FM stuff allowing new waveforms to be made.
