Members RGx2 Posted January 3, 2018 Members Share Posted January 3, 2018 My 1975 Guild F50 needs a neck reset, fret job and overall refinishing. The guitar's finish is not original, so I have no concerns about redoing it. Before I even attempt this project, just want to practice on another guitar. Does anyone know which used and reasonably priced acoustics have a glue on neck and would be suitable to practice on? If I can do a good job on that one, then I will consider taking on the Guild. He does repairs and knows his way around resets so he'll probably know of a possibility for your "experiment," and he can give plenty of valuable advice.
