Members theDogger
MY latest build, cust. asked if I could make a Brownface Deluxe Style 6G3 Combo Cabinet. Like this one from Mojo ..RD took a little long as I was not really familiar with this 1x12 combo Fender Clone. But looks like it all good. Just needs some filler, stain on the inside, finish sanding and tolex. Was able to get the plans mocked up in Sketchup. continued...... Any question let me know You can see more pics here https://www.facebook.com/bfgcabs/

Members Freeman Keller
Nice work indeed. Do you happen to have a picture of the jig you used to route the finger (box) joints? I did a cabinet a year ago and built sort of a mickey mouse jig for my router table but I'd like to see what you used.
Members thatsbunk
seems a shame to wrap that in tolex. you should just leave it as is...
Members Freeman Keller
I sure agree with that. Here is my little effort at a box jointed cabinet with a kit amp.

Members WRGKMC
When you say you need to finish sanding and Tolex, are you using, textured paint? The finish looks far too rough for standard Tolex
Phil O'Keefe
Both the blonde and brown Tolex era Fender amps had "rough" Tolex that's grainier than your typical black Tolex. I think what he meant was he needed to do finish sanding, then apply Tolex.
Phil O'Keefe
Again, really nice work!

Phil O'Keefe
Phil thanks...yes you are correct....need to stop posting via the phone. No worries - your post was actually fine. I knew exactly what you meant, and the "comma" in that part of the sentence is grammatically optional. You can use x, y and z... or x, y, and z - either is considered acceptable. Again, those cabinets look fantastic! What does something like a blonde with oxblood grille 1x12 extension cab run?

Members DeepEnd
Careful' date=' Phil, or you might start an Oxford comma brouhaha![/quote'] He might even turn into a ''comma chameleon'': Grammar loving in your eyes all the way If I listen to your lies, would you say I'm a man without punctuation I'm a man who doesn't know How to save this sentence structure? You come and go, you come and go Commma, comma, comma, comma, comma chameleon You come and go, you come and go...

Members AlamoJoe
This thread reminds me of Legend Amps. Anybody remember them? I had a 50 watt with a 4-12" cab....Beautiful amp, but couldn't get the sound I wanted out of it.
Phil O'Keefe
Yes, I remember Legend amps, although I never had one myself.
