Members cliftond
I put the amp section from my 30 amp Vypyr into this Philco radio cabinet, along with the 12" Blue Marvel Speaker, the cabinet had a 15" speaker in it but it was weak sounding. This is the way an amp should sound and look, so much louder than before and with dignity.http://youtu.be/pCnmE0ivZfA
Members WRGKMC
I used to do that long ago too. Old radio Turntable cabs can produce some good tones, usually with allot of bass. Small Peavey combos usually sounds pretty thin and I can agree they can benefit from a bigger cab to thicken up the sound.

Members WRGKMC
The only thing I'd see is it being a bitch to move. Raw wood does tend to get scraped up and the large cabinet size takes up allot of space. The cools side is you can make a cool stage show with it. Get yourself an old stand up lamp and convert it into a mic stand. Put an arm chair next to it with a card table or something. that fits the era. Get an RCA sound of the master dog to sit in front of it. http://www.wayfair.com/Design-Toscano-Nipper-RCA-Dog-Statue-NG29542-L619-K~TXG2056.html?refid=GX50899302660-TXG2056&device=c&ptid=75693516180&gclid=CNqYgavPgMQCFYI_aQod30UARw
