Phil O'Keefe
Logitech (yes, the computer peripherals company) has announced plans to purchase mic and headphone heavyweight Blue. http://www.harmonycentral.com/news/o...-purchase-plan While it seems fairly obvious to me that Blue's line of consumer oriented microphones and headphones were probably very attractive to Logitech, they say they will also be continuing to serve the pro audio community. As a longtime fan of some of their products, I sure hope so!
Members kbeaumont
I have the Spark condenser mic I really like that one. But I also have 2 of their encore 100 dynamic mics those I'm not too impressed with. The dynamic mics came free with the condenser mic as as sale. I haven't tried any of their dynamic mics, but I'm a big fan of some of their pro condenser mics, and I have liked the headphones I've tried too. And TBH their consumer audio products are also really good for what it is - a definite cut above some of the junk you find in that market.
