I really like the drum sounds at the beginning of "I can be a graveyard". Nice pop sensibility especially on "Make it honest". Using that much reverb can be dangerous but it seems like you pulled it off on "Ghost Story", nice guitar tone on that one too...sounds like a Tele???? What kind of gear did you use....mics, pre's, software, etc? Anyway, good stuff. I like. I'll have to check it out on better speakers though. "make it honest" is an older recording, and you can hear it, but i still like it. yeah reverb is definitely a part of the sound...a washy sort of sound. some of the guitars are teles, yes. also were sheratons, acoustics, les pauls & duo sonics. we record with lots of layers. for those 2 newer recordings, all the guitars are in cubase, recorded direct, with the amp simulators. recorded into a firebox. for vocals i used a JZ BH-1.
