    I saw him years ago opening for George Carlin. He was accompanied by a trombone and an upright bass and it was very good. RIP Leon.

    Well, they say that when you get to 69 you have to turn around, but I don't think that's what they meant.

    Yeah, I always liked him too.

    He was only 69? For some reason I always thought he was older than that - probably due to his genre preferences.

    Rest in peace Leon.

    Wow! I just read the article, he was much younger than I thought, only five years older than me. That really is a shame.
