Cabinet Impulses

I have a couple of guitar cab emulators I been using lately. They do a good job on coloring the tones of guitar tracks recorded direct.

These plugins are similar to reverb plugins in many ways and use impulse files to produce a sense of depth and mic coloration.

 

I found a few sites that offered free downloads of impulses sets which I plan on trying. Some are grouped with specific amp head

presets and settings and I may not be able to extract them. I'm not interested in virtual amp heads. I'm only interested in the cab emulations.

If anyone has a source for these kinds of impulse files I'd appreciate a link to them.

 

These impulse files are a rather new development in recording so I don't expect there to be allot of them out there but anyone whose used them

may have a couple of go to favorites they use and it would save me time sifting through all the junk out there.
