You've all seen it. The signage used by Britain's Minister of Defense. The sign was to promote better morale during WWII when Britain was under the constant thread of aerial bombing.

 

SO, no doubt you've also seen all the slants on this slogan.

Given the reality of today's microprocessor-driven world, I'd go for...

 

Keep Calm

Turn it Off

Wait 30 Seconds

Turn it Back On

 

Or reduced to something more minimal...

 

Keep Calm and Reboot

 

I can't tell you how many of my customers would have saved a service call if they had followed that procedure.

Well I was inspired by walking through Gibson's service department, where I often hear "Turn it off, then turn it back on again...oh, good....is there anything else I can help you with?...thank you for calling...good bye."
