Members UstadKhanAli
The ARP reissues/clones keep on coming. And that's a beautiful thing. This is an ARP 2600 clone from TheWarp and is about US$3600 / 2800 Euros. And I know that's a lot of money, but is a small fraction of the price that vintage ARP 2600s fetch. According to the developers, the functions and technical specs are identical to those of the original instrument, but has been modernized to fit into a 19" rack. Suh-weeet. http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2015/02/10/thewarp-arp-2600-clone-first-look/
Members Ed A.
No voltage/lag processors or reverb like the original and from the demos I've heard, it sounds more like an MS20 instead of a 2600.
Members UstadKhanAli
Thanks for the information! I need to check out some demos. Haven't gotten around to that yet. I have an original MS-20, and it's a GREAT synth. Really fun to play, really inspiring, with a big, fat, complex sound that only a keyboard like this could ever get. The mini MS-20 and the kit MS-20 reissues sound really great and true to the original sound.
