This looks surreal. It's a movie filmed in Ethiopia that takes place in 1936 during the thankfully short-lived Italian occupation of Ethiopia. It's visually quite interesting, and often rather surreal, all the more interesting because it was done on a shoestring budget. I've heard US$7000 and US$13000. Regardless, a paltry budget. Anyway, I figured some of you might be interested in someone doing something a little different in Ethiopia.
