You may not have been over there, and maybe you don't play in a band... but if you'd like to check out some of your fellow forum members' gigs, just thought I'd give you a heads-up that we have a new feature here at HC. Click on the "Calendar" button at the top of the forum page, and you'll see gig listings for forum members' bands! The city should be listed in the posting, so you'll be able to see who's local to you. So check it out!
