I think the sirens are in the middle... and actually, TNCD is a safe answer to almost any gimmick/sound effect question... it's got almost every trick and attempted hook in the book... machine guns, sirens, a drop down to just a "clock ticking" (ticking the beat, of course)... musical quotes [beer Barrel Polka or something]... a surprise happy ending... damn, if it wasn't such a total annoyance, it'd be a great song!
