Members gtrwiz
I'm just about to buy an Adrennalinn II, and just wanted to check first. Thanks
Members Anderton
Didn't see anything new from Roger. The Adrenalinn remains one of my absolute fave pieces of guitar gear.

It looks pretty cool, but apart from the fact that the effects are beat-synched, and it has a drum machine, does it really do much more than a Pod XT will do? Beat-synched stuff works when you have something to sync the beat to, but if you're playing with a carbon based drummer, you're back to tap-tempo. The FX I heard online are certainly cool, but doesn't the PodXT also do sample/hold and filter sweeps too? I'm just curious about the differences. Members Anderton
It does both more and less. The modeling is much less developed in the Adrenalinn and much less precise, but the beat-synched effects are extremely cool and synth-like. Nothing else really comes close, except for using Dave Smith's Evolver's external ins. But yeah, if you don't have something to provide the sync, you lose 80% of what makes it cool.
