I just found the best deal I could on Pricewatch.com. You don't need anything fancy. Depending on what kind of video card you have, I would make sure at least one monitor has a DVI input. Most dual head cards now have a DVI out and the regular monitor output (sorry don't know what it's called) for their dual display setup.

I put the project overview window (tracks and all that) on the left monitor, and the mixer console on the right monitor.

I see friends using a single monitor for their projects, and it just seems soooo, like, last millenium!!!

;)

And a pain in the ass.

Hi we have two of these:

http://www.superwarehouse.com/AOC_LM929_Silver_Black_19_LCD_Monitor/LM929/p/376999

AOC LM929 which we got for about 400 dollars. but its selling for about $340.

We use it for VEGAS, Acid, and cubase.

sometimes for NFSU2 and warcraft hehehe.

works just great!!!

We're using a Palit nvidia6600GT vidcard with one monitor connected via VGA and the other via DV.

Great colors, and clarity!!

Great on vegas when monitoring video on the 2nd monitor.

Now I could say why didn't I use 2 monitors a long time ago!!

(because they were still too expensive then!)
