Members rasputin1963
Some of my DAW's compression VST plugins allow you to choose between so-called "Digital" compression and so-called "Vintage" compression. The presets for Digital create a compression contour which only has one knee. The presets for Vintage compression have two knees-- the usual knee in the middle of the amplitude range, and another one that veers sharply upward in your topmost amplitudes. Wazzup with that? What do these settings mean? Thanks, ras
