Members bump
Hi there, Anyone know if it's possible to hook up a hard disk or other external drive to the Roland MC-80 and/or where to find the old drive that Roland made for the unit? Thanks, Rob Cathcart
Members Kiwiburger
Storage of onboard sequence and parameter settings is accommodated via a 120,000-note internal memory and a floppy drive, with a capacity of 118,000 notes per disk. Additional storage is available via an optional internal 2.5-inch IDE hard drive, an optional internal Zip drive, and/or an optional SCSI interface board for connecting to external SCSI storage devices for data backup. Talk to your Roland rep.

Go herehttp://www.route66studios.comThis guy is a friend of mine. He's constantly digging into old samplers and other hardware and modifying them.I don't know if he can set you up with a hard disk. That might be asking too much. But maybe a Zip disk. Get in touch with him.
