Members daklander
Chilly and raining so I stoked up the fireplace for the first time since I started rebuilding the hearth. (It still needs grout.) Nothing like a warm fire & a hot cup of tea to soothe the soul on a night like this. Well, a hot toddy or a glass of wine.... Members D Charles
Say Dak, I once worked with a guitarist who had a wood burning stove. Nothing like it in the dead of winter. You stand up next to that thing when you come out of the cold and pretty soon you're sweating and the room feels nice and comfortable.

Members AudioMaverick
It's above freezing, tonight. But, I still fired up the cast iron wood burner int he kitchen area. The living room fireplace is actually too large for the house. It takes a lot of wood to heat up the rock facia. The gas floor furnace does a better job. But, it is great to make a small rager when company is over. I might fire it up if the Thursday storm actually brings rain.
