Members modul8
I was first introduced to him by my middle school jazz band director. He was truly and amazing talent. I remember being really into a track of his called "Chameleon" I believe. His music really fired up the trumpet players in our group (I was a trombone player myself). I know he will be missed. Members littledog
No disrespect intended to a guy who employed a lot of musicians for a lot of years... But I could never get into the playing high for the sake of playing high thing. I'd rather hear something played musically. Obviously, this is purely my subjective opinion... I just can't honestly call him a great player - a great "athlete" is perhaps closer. To put him in the pantheon of Louis Armstrong, Cootie Williams, Roy Eldridge, Dizzy Gillespie, Fats Navarro, Miles Davis, Clifford Brown, Freddie Hubbard, etc. is a bit of a stretch.
