Should I loosen my sneaker laces?

It depends, if you strongly pronate (as I do) you may need to tighten them at the very least

 

 

Hint : I've got relatively thin feet adn when I used to climb I would run 2 laces per shoe, one to individually tighten the toe and one for the rest -- it works so well I eventually starteddoing this to my hiking boots

Well they are I mean, they're straight as a rod. You can't a drop of warmth out of them either.
