Members chipmcdonald
I think he's misunderstood descriptions of "How to use relative minor", or he's fallen into the trap of thinking you can play any mode on the same root. Members Gabriel E.
So the general public is finally hipping to neoclassical shred 20 years after it was passe. The stuff propagated by Malmsteen & co. was way more complicated and ambitious. The kid's ok. Would have been nothing special in 1987. A typical (and literal) bedroom shredder. Right, and he's not without basic musiciality by any means, but it is such a rigid, narrow genre and so devoid, in my humbop, of the qualities of swing, wit, and imagination that are the main reasons I'm interested in music. It's sports guitar, and that's being unfair to sports. Not that Pachabel wasn't half bad...
