Members UstadKhanAli
Can anyone recommend a good place to take vocal lessons that doesn't break the piggy bank? My girlfriend sings well, but wants to improve her singing, and wants to know if anyone knows of some singing classes that aren't too expensive and are really good. This includes community colleges, etc. Thanks!
Moderators Lee Knight Posted January 9, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 9, 2007 Since no one has come forward with an answer I'll offer this. It's not an answer to your specific query but it might prove useful for her. It did for me. I love this CD series. 4 CDs. A couple explaining the theory along with the exercises, then a couple of CDs trimmed down to the exercises only for day to day use. I use mine in the car and it's great. http://www.singingvoicelessons.com/
Members Kendrix
http://www.jeanniedeva.com/ Similar to what Lee sugested here is one learning program that I found useful. Jeanie used to be Boston baesd. Apparently she now also has an operation in LA LA land.
Members UstadKhanAli
Kendrix and Lee, thanks for the replies! I passed these on to her. As it turns out, Jeannie Deva lives somewhat nearby, so I think she may check into that. She is also checking into some classes at Valley College, which is supposed to have some good vocal classes. If anyone else has suggestions, bring 'em on!! Thanks!
